Did anyone notice the amount of Vw's at Napierville on Monday? Very nice to see! Too bad that no one was running any impressive times though!

A lot of these people driving MK2 vr6 golfs and jettas really cannot drive. I saw more of these in the upper 15's than in the 14's where they should be!! There was even a supercharged VR running 15's??????? (Mustang supercharger?)

What the hell. I think Jeremy's best was 14.6 with a stock VR in a gutted jetta! I guess that's respectable!

Oh well...can't wait to hear comments!
 
Je suis allé lundi à Napierville. J'ai aussi coursé, mon meilleur temps était de 15.5 à 91mph et j'ai aucune excuse pour ne pas avoir réussi à faire un meilleur temps. Mais je dois dire que ya beaucoup de chose qui ne m'ont pas permis de faire un meilleur temps. Premièrement, mes pneus sont pratiquement morts à l'avant, en plus d'avoir du 195 à l'avant... Ce que je vais regler bien vite, par la suite j'ai une transmission de jetta, ce qui allonge en maudit le gearage, mon chum de gars avec son corrado entrait à 6700tr en 3ième alors que j'arrive à environ 6000tr, méchante difference, j'ai quand même réussi à sortit un temps de 60pieds de 2.1, et je les tenais entre 2.2 et 2.3, quand même pas mauvais et je shiftais pas trop vite de la première à la deuxième parce qu'avec le manque de traction, elle entrait pas si je shiftais le pied au plancher... J'ai quand même pas été décu, car mon chum de gars avec son corrado qui à fait travailler ces têtes avec un approximatif d'environ 20hp de plus à tirer au mieux un 14.94 avec une transmission pas mal plus agressive que la mienne. Pour tout dire, je me suis éliminé moi même en compétition avec un temps de réaction de -0.001 alors la malchance était là ;)
 
VR6Addic...tu conduisais quel char?

Mon ami avec le GTI Jaune c'est eliminer aussi avec un lumiere rouge. Il etait dessus mais il a quand meme courser environ 20 fois!! C'est bon d'arriver tot et de prendre la chance de pratiquer tes launch sans etre stresser.

Si il y'a une autre jour d'imports a Napierville ja vais apporter mon auto. Le derniere fois mon meilleur etait un 15.72 @ 93.xx MPH. J'etait content avec ca parceque mon auto est stock et TRES lourd!!

and 14,6 for jeremy Jetta 2"winter beater" is not that bad , for a stock VR
 
Hey Rainman, crois tu que la transmission de jetta sois gearé plus longue que celle de corrado, et si oui, comment coute une tranny de corrado pour le fun ??
 
le G/J 3 ont une 3.38(final drive), la Corrado a une 3.67, mes voiture ont roulé 3 ans avec des 3.94 et depuis 99 des 4.24!! achete pas une tranny de corrado elle sont toute en mauvaise etat , viens me voir je te montrerai une 4.24 sur la rue ...le best est de remonter la tienne avec un 3.94 pour la rue.....hehehhehehehehehehehhe
 
Tu pourrais me donner une estimation pour voir comment ça pourrait couter pour remplacer le final drive sur ma tranny ? Et qu'est ce que tu me conseillerai comme pneus pour avoir une bonne traction parce que la je peux pas le laisser aller en haut de 2200tr parce que si je drop, ca spin, alors je perd un temps précieux à l'empecher de spinner et mes pneus sont pas mal sur la fesse, ce qui n'aide pas beaucoup...
 
practice make the difference... not the driver... any driver could perform well with lots of practice!!!... maybe it was just a slow day!!!
 
hell ya Karim, it was nice to see all them "dubs" :lol: But seriously, the times were a bit dissapointing.....ah well, I really need my car done, yesterday just made me cry, my baby is here at home, and I'm drivin the Integra :( I need my baby on the street dammit!!!

My car is the Blue Midnight Golf '91 with the jetta VR6 BBS mags on it. J'avais les mêmes mags que la jetta 2 noir, et j'ai pas encore posé mon sigle VW à l'arrière et c'est pas mal ça...
 
Tru dat Karim!! nice ride Addict, if you look real quick, it looks like a Rallye Golf!!! hehe ...seriously, very clean car man, it looks like a stock 8V!!!

I also like that dark brown/grey-ish A2 golf VR6, it looked like it just came out of the factory!!
 
Thank you guys, but for fast, i need to pratice to launch that mofo once in a while. But it look very clean and simple and i really like it that way. I don't draw many attention from the police and the riceboys don't know @#%$ about my car ;)

P.S. what kind of car do you got guys ??
 
My baby is sitting in my garage awaiting paint....88 Golf VR6...and I gots a *cough* 90 Integra, but fret not, alas I only use it to get parts for my Volkswagen!!!

I love my golf, I was just tired of gettin laughed at since it's been on primer for about a year now, so I decided to add a lil MORE character and get it sprayed. Hopefully soon, I can't take this lack of torque anymore!!
 
I've got a B4 passat, Big, heavy, but very comfortable and it's pretty quick. I like the fact that no one knows what kind of car it is! It's totally de badged and at least once a week, people ask me "Yo man...what kind of car is that??" I love it!! Very rare! Especially in the tuning scene!
 
Karim, you and me know that Passat are somewhat left over on the tuning scene but those cars are great!! It's cool to see that some people pay attention to our car and ask us what is this. Anyway... I love my B3 Syncro but I must admit that my mind is turning over another car...yes it's another Passat. B4 VR6 Wagon. I want it to looks just like this one :p :p :p
