BBD (Bombardier) stock goes down by a lot today

Ce gars est en train d'isoler économiquement le Canada. Avant je priorisais le made in USA, depuis 5 mois c'est différent pas mal.
 
well si notre PM a des couilles et les reins solide:

-Fuck l'entente sur le bois d'oeuvre, on jack les prix.
-Fuck l'entente sur le blé, on va le vendre ailleurs.
-Qu'il mange de la marde avec leur menace sur les produits laitiers, on fait un blocus et on vend le notre ailleurs.


On coupe nos prix sur l'exportation vers L'Europe et l'Amérique du sud.


Il faut les faire crever de faim. C'est ridicule, on leur vend notre bois, ils le transforment et nous le revendent plus chère... Même affaire avec le blé.


Oui les économistes du forum vont me ramasser et me sortir plein d'argument contre, mais c'est mon émotivité qui me parle lol... Je trouve ça tout simplement ridicule comme approche et n'oubliez pas, de nombreux cultivateurs et entrepreneurs américains sont très satisfait de l'entente de libre-échange actuel
 
Nous devrions augmenter le prix d'exportation de l'eau de source. genre 220% d'augmentation.

Comme-ça, pendant que les épais dévalisent les walmart quand une tempête arrive, ils devront payer leur bouteille 15$ au lieu de 50c

The reality is that Canada isn't a centrally planned economy, you can't just make those things happen.

The soft-wood lumber deal is already over, raising prices entails convincing corporations to do so. If we wanted to shift our wood to other countries it would mean convincing these corporations to accept lower profits for the same wood.

The US doesn't need our milk, they already produce too much of their own which is the source of the dairy conflict, we produce just enough to meet our need which means little of it is exported.

The US has proven on multiple occasion that it is no friend to Canada, they only ever do what's in their interest, we need to wrap up trade deals with China/India, MERCOSUR and TPP and fuck the Yankees.

You really want to hurt the US? Start poaching their corporations and highest paid employees. There's nothing americans hate more than when an other country attacks their standing in the world.

You could put some money behind a big push for that Amazon HQ2, if Canada is serious about it's policy of supporting/developing AI. Start putting together some serious financial packages to drain the US tallent pool and entice silicon valley companies and researchers to relocate north. We already adopted a expedited visa process for high skilled jobs, it wouldn't require much more.

There isn't much we could do as an immediate response to this action. Most realistic scenario that I could imagine is if an american companies tries to buy a canadian one and it's blocked for national security reasons by ours.
 
Agreed though, I'd cancel the purchase of any military equipment from the US and either give a contract to BBD to make our own planes or get some from Europe or Asia.

We have the capability with our world class aeronautical companies. Why not? Would revive BBD among others (CAE for example.)

We're limited to the extent that we can boycott US military suppliers, I expect those super-hornets will never see the light of day, but I don't see us completely ignoring the F35 because of this. The navy ship contracts might lean towards a european company now if the trudeau company wants to send a message.

An other show of power (this is why you engage in international diplomacy) is if we could get the UK to stand by us and shift their industrial policies/procurement away from the US/Boeing. Bombardier is a massive employer in NI, and Theresa May desperately needs their support in westminster to maintain her slim majority.
 
Lol @ everyone blaming the states. Bombardier is run by sentient potatoes, and the only reason they stay alive is because they are all the pride quebec has left.

Gut the management, cut the fat and start fresh. Pay back the government, and come back to the level playing field.

They already culled the entire upper management 2 years ago, and cut 7500 jobs worldwide last year.

Bombardier est accusé de concurrence illégal car ils ont vendu des C-Series a perte a Delta, ils ont été capable de vendre a perte grace a l'argent injecté par le gouvernement tout en se donnant des salair de dieu grec.

Ya pas eu de jugement encore mais boeing a décidé que cétait illégal alors le gouvernement a décider de leur mettre une taxe de 200% dans yeule.

On va donner des chiffres inventés.

Disons que le mrsp de un avion est de 25M

Boeing dit que BBD les a dompe à 16M/avion quand le vrai chiffe est entre 19M et 22M.

Le Cseries affecte aucunement Boeing, ils font ça pour les empêcher de sortir du trou.
