Fastest mtl street car in street mode?

Good to know. Street legal =/= street car.

Twin Turbo Lambos are not what I consider street cars. To me a street car must be driveable all year round and while possible, I rarely even see these cars during the summer. the only car mentioned I think could fit in Street Car category for me would be a GTR, but when modified at 950HP, I don't think the owner would take it out very often in winter. For me, a street car would be more like a modified Daily Drivable car. To an extent, a sunny day/weekend warrior, but not a track best that's running streets tires to get to the track. My $0.02.

I dont want to live on this planet anymore 0_o

I'd like to run 10's in street trim one day but I think that's very hard on street tires and RWD.

Fuck Quebec for not having E85 :( I'd love to run 700whp on a tiny 62mm turbo

Next year I will try and organize an event to find the fastest street cars in montreal. They just had an event like this in Toronto and a friend of mine won it running 9.80's in his vette.
There are rules, to make sure the cars are really street cars. No slicks, pump fuel, plated, street legal tires... etc, etc, etc,

It would be fun to do this here, and I want to know who is fastest in street trim. I know I wont win. I run low 10's, in exactly the same trim which I drive on the street daily in the summer. Fast enough for me.

i think you mean daily driven. I drive my Z everyday and use it just like any other car but I just dont drive it winter. I chose not to not because I can't but simply because the winters we have here with the salt and all would destroy the car which I dont want. My cousin also has a 520whp srt4 which he dailies but same thing. Its more about taking care of your investment I guess.

Street car is when you go fast but got only 1 set of tires, use pump gas and have full interior, reliability etc but I get your point.

I think you're the only one who did. I completely understand protecting your investment and storing it for winter. I also never stated that a street car absolutely had to be driven in winter, which is what most seem to have misunderstood from my post. I simply used that as an example of why I wouldn't consider a 950HP GTR to be a street car. As you said, 1 set of tires, pump gas, full interior, but I would also add "no special restrictions on when it can be used on the street" such as "I only take it to go to the track on weekends or car shows" or what ever. It doesn't need to be a DD, but a street-legal car that is parked in a garage and only comes out 5-6 times a year, like I'm sure that TT lambo does, simply isn't a "street" car in my eyes. It should have the potential of being a daily driver, without necessarily being one. Perfect example is BoxsterBoy and his Lambo. He goes to get groceries with it. lol. Street car.

These were the rules from the Toronto "king of the street" event. I would like to do something similar...

realcanuk: I like the rules except the one about power adders, nothing wrong with a little nitrous to spool the big turbo.:)
