Turbo or not, rental companies keep their cars for at most the length of the warranty and so maintenance cost is not an issue. Most of them seem to change their cars once they reach 20-35k.
 
I've never rented a car from a large company (Avis, Budget, Hertz) that was over a year old. Some small independents (Gordon & Yvon for example) will rent you older cars but large companies I've never heard of that.

Yup... it's the poor suckers that buy the cars after 200 different people have beaten the crap out of it who are going to have to deal with the mechanical problems down the road.
 
Ca pourrait etre une maudite bonne idee. Petite cylindrée pour la ville, grand empatement pour le confort, espace interieur important pour la grande route et longue distance.
 
Je plain les mécaniciens qui vont devoir travailler sur la masse de voiture Turbo-injection-directe dans le futur, c'est déjà de la marde comme c'est là, content de plus faire ça comme job.
