Hi Guys,

Will do this topic in english this way everyone will be able to provide suggestions and ideas.

I'm turning 30 y/o next year and i want to plan a lifetime trip. I love historical sites, nature, food, drinking.

Here are the specs:

-3 weeks trip.
-Budget under 10k
-Will probably be in june or September.

Destinations already done:

-USA/CAN
-Italy
-Netherlands
-Belgium
-Germany
-Spain
-Mexico
-Dominican Republic & this area.
-Panama
-Croatia
-Slovenia

I might be alone or with some people, i didn't figured it out yet.

What i have in mind right now is:

-Norway (was supposed to do in 2017 but since ive travelled 6 times, it was too expensive with currency in march)
Could possibly rent a van to travel around a lot of areas.

-England/Scotland

-France

-Greece + Turkey

-Bali

-New Zealand

Let me know where you guys went and how it was.
Appreciate
Bovi

I'm not a fan of europe in the summer months, it's too crowded and hot.

Japan would be perfect for 3 weeks, get a 2 week unlimited japan rail pass (book end your trip in Tokyo, 3 at the begining 3 at the end you'll need it anyways.)

Chile + Peru + Bolivia is a nice way to spend 3 weeks off the beaten path and the food scene is so underrated.

Tel Aviv, hands down.

Plenty of stuff to see in terms of nature (negev desert, dead sea, sea, mountains), food's fantastic, party city and everyone wants to have a great time there.

Historical sites are unreal (Masada, jerusalem, museums).

On top of that, you'll have direct flights around that time of the year.

IMO, you need 2 weeks to see the whole country and everything is doable by car with short distances between things.

With 3 weeks, you could consider crossing into Jordan as well.

50th Anniversary of the Baja 1000.
Baja peninsula, Mexico.

Starts in Ensenada, ends in La Paz.
November 14-17th
Race starts November 16th.

Following the race to spectate IS the trip/adventure.

holy fuck... that was fun.

I was in Norway a few months ago. It was absolutely epic, but pepper your angus, your 10K budget might not be enough unless you live out of a van and eat junk food for two weeks.

A hot dog is 7$, the ferries are 20-50$ and you might take 4-5 or six ferries during a 5-6 hour drive. It's easy to spend 200-300$ just in ferries and fuel in a day, not including your car rental, food and activities.

Going to a nice restaurant for supper in Bergen with my wife was like 1K.

Best restaurant experience of my life was at Lysverket in Bergen. And I've been to quite a few top level places like Noma in Copenhagen, alinea in Chicago, Blue Hill in New York and El Bulli in Catalonia.

It was worth every penny though. Seriously.

Keep in mind if you go to Israel you'll need to have that passport replaced before going to any middle-eastern country, except maybe Jordan.

Not true, they don't stamp. They give you a small paper on the side attesting your entry / exit.

Ask me how I know ;)
