Bonne et Mauvaise nouvelle!


Mauvaise nouvelle : Comme certains le savent, j'ai busté 2 hoses lors d'une course contre une Mustang Supercharger (Une des By-Pass Valve Hose et ma hose de Boost Gauge) ; ca l'a fait "PAAAF!" en plein milieu de la course quand j'ai shifter... J'ai eu un spike de 23 PSI et le setup a lâché... Check Engine Light allume... Heureusement, j'ai pu réparer le tout sur place en 15 minutes, j'avais la tuyauterie nécessaire. C'est une réparation qui devait être fait la semaine prochaine (hein Karim?) et l'événement de ce soir fait juste confirmer mon besoin.

Bonne nouvelle ??? J'ai eu un Check-Engine-Light qui s'avère finalement être : 16486 - MAF Sensor (G70): Signal too Low !!! Finalement, c'est ce que j'attendais. J'étais pas certain d'avoir un MAF en forme ou non (je roule 240 g/s de mass air pendant que je devrais être à 290-300 g/s) et j'avais aucun code. Ben là ce soir il vient d'apparaitre alors ca confirme le bris! Je roule à peine 0.4g/s sur le idle!! C'est malade!


Bref, le char roule sur le mapping interne et non plus avec le MAF ; ce qui fait que je roulais environ à 65-70% de la puissance ce soir... Pourtant j'ai pas perdu heheh...
 
le probleme un coup que ton auto va etre en parfait forme, tu va manquer d'adversaires la bas

au moins tu est sur la bonne voie pour tout arranger

c'était une belle soirée en general

Nahhhh.... Le char va performer oui, être parmi les plus rapides oui, mais d'autres vont passer en avant.

Maudit que j'ai hâte que le char marche 100% ; j'arrête pas de me plaindre depuis août 2002 batard...

Et aussi, je suis sur que quelques Subaru WRX STI vont m'arracher la tête cet été, une fois bien modifié ils vont être dur sur le 1/8 de mile... sans parler de monstre méchant comme MonOncTSI qui va carrément encore une fois me crusifier sur place si on se pogne.
 
va encore falloir qu'ils viennent :) mononctsi j'ai pas de doute, sinon il reste encore une certaine wrx bleue qui te doit une race

prend une soiree comme ce soir, il y avait pas grand competition pour toi si ton auto avait été a 100%

Y'avait juste les 2 Mustangs Supercharger qui étaient de taille à soir... la bourgogne avec un wing était assez solide merci. Outre ca, j'ai pas eu de difficulté contre quiconque, mêm que j'ai manqué une gear contre une 5 litres, sans dommage... Même pas à pleine puissance, le VR6 Turbo NOS s'est fait ramassé.

"Y a pas grand chose dans l'ciel a soir..." (avec l'air de la toune de Paul Piché)"

J'vais p't'etre aller faire un tour les vendredis soir ; c'est des pièces de résistances (Viper, Porsche, Beaumont, Chevelle SS, Camaro monté, Mustang Supercharger, etc).

My MAF Sensor died early tonight, when I raced a mustang... I was running on internal maps / manifold air pressure instead of MAF all night, giving me approx. 65-70% of the power. The car runs rich automatically to ensure not running lean when it detects that the MAF is dead.

More over, during the same race, I blew 2 small hoses (ByPass Valve and Boost Gauge) but I managed to repair them there in 15 minutes (Viva Electric Tape and tie raps!).

i raced 2 time with my accord and i lost 1's and won 2nd time
 
the s4 and blue wrx kicked ass, I want to race my car but I don't think it would beat anyone.
no one had the new civics anyways

Y'a personne qui parle de la WRX STi silver (on voit le coin de la valise) qui était là-bas ... elle a pas roulé? *** Edit : a bien regarder je pense pas que c'est une STi .. plutôt une WRX avec un wing pi un badge. Les taillights 2004 sont pas pareils

I meant Civic chick can race my GF if she wants, they're both girls and have the same car

ya maybe, i would be nervous though
the only thing that i have changed/modified in my car is the sound system. I just got a whole new rockford fosgate system.
so i don't know. I wanted to race yesterday but my friend said it wouldn't be a good idea, but next time i'll come without him
