Battery light came on while revving high

J'etait sur l'autoroute et quand j'ai accelerer pour depasser quelqu'un la lumiere de batterie s'est allumer. Est-ce que ca pourrait etre la serpentine belt qui a debarquer ou w/e ou c'etait juste une coincidence et je vait devoir changer l'alternateur?

slipping belt or alternator over charging

How much would a slipping belt cost to repair? and if its an overcharging alternator would the battery light stay on?
I guess the best would be bringing it to a garage to get it check but i am always working

Slipping belt could be just a matter of adjusting the tension or possibly replacing it depending on condition. as the rpms go up the rotor spins faster creating "more" voltage if there is a problem with the regulator etc the alternator could be over chargeing at higher RPM's.
