The 5 series M Diesel wagon could be close to a perfect all around car.

As if we weren’t already jealous of Europe for getting cool cars that we can’t have, BMW has just announced its line of diesel-powered M Performance vehicles in advance of their Geneva Motor Show debut in March. As you’ve probably guessed by now, there are currently no plans to bring them Stateside — and that’s truly disappointing.

hmmm M diesel.... that sounds so wrong.

I mean, any M car is supposed to have an orgasmic high revin motor and I dont think a diesel can cut it.

diesels can be quite orgasmic, but you need alot more than an F350 super duty to experience diesel performance

drove a chipped X5d with exhaust and 520ft-lbs torque recently, i was pulling harder than ml63 and actually tigher and more responsive
i know suv is a bad example, but its the same engine from 335d

It actually can be quite interesting, the 335d is no joke and doesn't suffer from the old diesel problems such as a clunky and smoky engine. Look into it
