For a year now my truck has been giving me misfire problems. it's been coming in waves spanning 3 months.

-Starts off mint.
-After a few weeks, random misfire.
-Few more weeks, bursts of misfire under load under 1500rpm and sometimes on idle
-Gradually gets worse, longer misfire periods, or stays constant under certain rpm (also slowly rising over time), and more idle misfire
-Last week or so = constant misfire hell, flashing CEL, etc
then poof! mint again

First I changed the plugs and checked the air filter/ plug wires... nothing

Changed the coilpacks, seemed to work.... 2 weeks later, nope.

checked the codes: injector #3 and random misfire

Changed the injectors, lasted almost a month until misfire cycle started again

let the misfire wave run it's course

Checked the codes: random misfire

rage

Replace cracked egr hose near exhaust manifold... no difference

figure the egr system is probably vga so i plug everything (Ain't care, noobin all day).... no difference

rage

find massive vacuum leak near abs module. remove rotten hose and plug that line ... no difference

Check codes again: random misfire

rage

check the cat to see if it's clogged... mint

Right now I'm in the worst period of the misfire cycle, absolutely pissed. I feel dumb as hell that I can't figure it out. And I bet it's something so stupid. *banghead*

Anyone got an idea besides insurance fraud? My friend offered me $1000 as is so that's one option, lol.

Dave.... As-tu vérifié le module de coil-pack?
Un probleme fréquent sur les LN2 2.2.
