His son contacted me saying the car needed good attention because his dad used to try the car with brown industrial paper and wash it with hand soap……………………………….. (can you imagine the damage before even seeing the pictures?)
I think this car will be an excellent test for Number One because even after a 1-step theres still tons of correction left to do on the paint so it, IMO, shows more what this wax can bring to this damaged finish.
Process:
2 bucket wash method
Clay bar
Iron-X chemical decontamination
1-step polish on a white pad with a griot machine
IPA wipedown
1 coat of Definitive Wax Number One
Aquapel
Wolfgang trim sealant
At arrival:
Unfortunately, when I got home, I realised I didn’t took any pictures under the sun gun to show the condition of the paint but I would say maybe 40% were corrected. Let’s focus on the shine of the paint for this detail.
50/50 with Wolfgang Trim sealant:
And here’s the after-pictures, I wont say nothing, you be the judge!
Like I said, you be the judge, I don’t want to influence any opinions. Full review to be followed!
I was also asked to do the interior: The interior was in better shape than the exterior so it probably took me around 1h30 to complete.
Once done; I must also admit that the lighting didn’t gave me the opportunity to take good interior pictures.
