engine light on

so my engine check light came on when out of nowhere one of my spark plug cables came off of its coil...i guess running on the highway with three cylinders will do that.my question is will it stop if i disconnect the battery?

its on a 97 cavalier

could be the o2 censor also...happens on almost all cavalier's

no it really was the spark plug :when i popped my hood i could see the spark in the BACK of the engine:eek1:

and for the pothole question ill answer with another:who in montreal doesn't scream in his car EVERY day cause he just nailed another one?

but anyway i don't think ill need it:the light didn't come on this morning...
