It's been a long long time that i have not posted on this site but I wanted to share with you guys my new track car that I bought this past fall.
It's a 2004 996 GT3 that was bought new in BC and then made it's way to Quebec in 2009 when it was bought by a fellow track rat who used it sparingly at Club Tremblant events this summer.
he wanted to sell it and get something more tame. he was bugging me all summer to buy it and finally this October we hashed out a deal and made it happen.
I was debating if I should strip my Cayman S and make it a pure track car (it's 95% there anyway...) or buy something faster and keep the Cayman for my wife to drive on track.
In the end everyone is happy and I have a new project!
The car is Guards Red but with the help of my good friends at Sticky Media, I wrapped the car in 3M Matte black for a more stealthy look. I have an additional set of OZ wheels that are being painted red as we speak along with red numbers to add a bit of accent color.
In terms of the rest of the car, it's pretty good out of the box so only suspension adjustments, a set of BBS wheels with slicks and some safety equipment has been added.
I want to sort it out properly before doing anything silly like Motons or full mono balls suspension bits.
So I hope you enjoy the pics.
As I bought it:
After the wrap:
There are other images in "My garage" if you want to see them.
