Thanks man! Always wanted a AE86. M (awd) as daily and winter, AE86 for them sunny summers days!

Alright guys,

My childhood dream finally came true. I can't express how happy I am. We all grew up watching Initial D and I've wanted a clean AE86 for the longest time. However they are really rare and most of them are rusted, beaten POS... then I saw this thread (thanks OP).

Called the owner (also a MR member, coincidentally) yesterday morning, he was able to answer all my questions and you can tell that he knew his car well and took care of it. Sent a deposit by e-transfer, set up an appointment for today and I took the day off to get the car. Got to Chicoutimi at 11am, tested the car and went to the SAAQ. I wasn't used to the clutch at first and the power on this car is crazy compared to the weight. Literally felt like a go-cart. It started raining half way back so I was driving reaaalll slow. Got home at 6PM and couldn't stop staring at it. Will create a build thread soon!

The sound on this thing is simply amazing. I'd say it sounds even better than my VQ. Here's a quick sound clip:
