Asking on MR, you're going to be told it's the worst thing you can do. and that you're going to look like a ti-coune.
The reality is you're going to get a better maintained, likely more powerful car for a cheaper price, as long as you shop for a decent one that wasn't beaten to the ground.
As Broody said, insurance is a little trickier, but if you're not 18 and have a good driving record, you won't be paying as much as with a Porsche. Make sure the one you're looking at has been plated in the last 12 months or it will require an inspection...SAAQ approved garages no longer inspect RHD cars, so you'll be out of luck to get it back on the road.
