scrap Yards in montreal

Im looking for a specific part for my 99 Isuzu rodeo, the driver window control switch panel.

The dealer is asking for 350$ so im thinking maybe a scrap yard will have one for much cheaper?

anyone know where the scrap yards are?? its been a while i know there was one on st-jaques, but i dunno if you can still walk in?

any other places?

i went to one in laval before, but i forgot the address

Most scrapyards pull numbers out of their asses.

"I'm looking for a X"

"we have one, it'll be 145$"

"uhh.... its NEW for 150$"

How I deal with them is pretty much laugh in their face and tell them "c'stun joke, non? c'est 150 neuf, j't'donne 70 cash, ou 60 si j'enlever mo-meme" in my horrible french.

ALSO, saying EXACTLY what you need, what THEY need to know like you know shit will originally get you a lower price.

my dad called up "I need a door, for a corrola, what year? uhh 1993, what model? I dunno" 185$

I GO to the scrap he called.

"Hi, I need a front driver door for a 93 rolla se,with the thin trim, mirror and int. optional, preferably light blue, go one?"

"yeah, we have one, 145$"

"allright toss in a 800cc battery and I'll give you 160"

Meilleur scrap yard... Pintendre Auto sa rive-sud de québec! Méga cours à scrap au québec je crois et puis tu peut choisir ske tu veut! T'arrive la bas y te fournisse la brouette pi tu prend ske tu veut sur les chars pi en sortant tu paye pour les pieces que ta prix!
 
The scrap yards here are all crap, small and expensive. Go to Plattsburgh, I love their huge vast yards, basically you take the stuff you want off yourself with your own tools and pay them.
