Feature Article: The 2015 Mega Ride

Je vais y être pour l'ouverture des portes je crois, pas envie d'être coincé en ligne pour entrer. Danny, est-ce que tu vas avoir des stickers MR dans la tente? Les dernières fois je manque toujours mon coup pour en avoir :(
 
Salut Vtec, je fais la ballade, on se rencontrera peut-être demain, tu y seras en 306? J'y serai en GT.
 
Je ne sais pas encore si j'y vais en 306, mais je n'y vais pas avec l'une des ride; j'y vais par moi-même pour arriver plus tôt et pouvoir entrer plus facilement.

Unfortunately the day did not go as planned because of the weather. They were only announcing a 30% chance of rain for Saturday evening.....even on Friday night. The concept of the show was good but the rain made everything difficult, there were a lot less people and many left soon after the rain intensified around 9:45.

I'm guessing the 4 Megarides weren't that great either....

The St Bruno one started out pretty well (mall security and the popo were kind enough to come over and give us the start signal :D ), but once we got on the highway we lost each other quite quickly because the 30, 25 and 40 were full of old farts and soccer moms going 10 below the limit in all lanes.
Perhaps next year we should pick a statutory holiday (like labor day monday) when the stores are closed and there aren't as many "civilians" on the roads. And maybe do a couple stops along the way so that those that got stuck behind snails can catch up with the front runners.

I can't comment about ICAR. it was pouring when I got there, so I didn't go in.

I arrived around 9:30 (in my mom's Accent, yay!) and saw a few old cars, a Caterham and a 458 Speciale exiting the show.
 
J'ai été au convoi à Laval, j'ai fais le trajet (une bonne partie derrière une tabarnak de sienna plaquée du Texas qui roulait pas) et en plus je n'avais pas le trajet alors j'ai du clancher à quelques reprises pour rattrapé le convoi.

Quand on est arrivés à icar, la pluie ne ralentissait pas, donc après une 30aine de minutes on a décidé de partir.
