For those who didn't know, we ( AirSociety ) ended up buying back my old Civic EF that I used to own 12 years ago!
The project has begun and here's where we at today

1. Pick up the car from the guy I traded it too against his HB, the car was repainted a couple years ago and wasn't being used for like 3 years. The car is MAD clean but clearly was accumulating dust!
2. Call up Air Lift and order bags and then send the car to Vitali at Strasse Autowerks to get a special Air Treatment.
A couple days after we got to work on the car, let the stripping begin!
3. Pick up some 15x8.5 ET20 and 15x9 ET13 Schmidt TH Lines
4. Went shopping for some JDM seats, ended up finding leather and suede Prelude JDM seats ... fuckin boss
5. Install bags with Strasse
While prepping the tools and car, I took the chance to mount and stretch the tires on our rims, thing that I remembered how to do, even 10 years after doing my mechanic courses and not doing anything with it lol. I proceeded to the 195-45-15 install on the 15x9'' smoothly but things got complicated when time came to mount the 165-45-15 on the 8.5's lol. Thank God I wasn't alone that day!
Once the wheels mounted, we lifted the car up and started the install. What's fun is that everything is pretty much accessible on these cars. Remove a few bolts here and there, and here you are with the full shock assembly in your hands after 10 minutes. The Air Lift kit supplied was for EG Civic's ( 92-95 ) which is almost the same suspension. The only major difference for the front is the shock width ( wider ). We already had bought 2 front EG Civic forks to pair with the Air Lift shock and bag assembly. The actual strut length was the same. Following the install guide, we had to trim the inner part of the upper tables for more clearance when inflating the bags, thing that was easily completed.
Now on to the rear suspension. Again, following the Air Lift instruction guide, we flew right thru the install. Only modifications required were to cut a little piece of the strut plate mount and drill a hole on the rear shock tower to make room for the air lines. Other then that, install is peanuts. Note that we have to trim or roll the rear fenders since its not clearing the wheels.
But now the real talk ...
The CAR DOES NOT GO LOW. After stretching the shit out of the front tires and looking at the car aired out ( really the case since no lines lol ) we had a big problem. We are missing a good 4-5'' in the front. Problem on those Civic's is that the front upper table sits on the shock tower when lowered. Made a call to my buddy Tony at ADB Tuning who cut the springs on this Civic 12 years ago and he told me the same thing : bring it to the shop, with Tony Touch, shit's gonna rest on the floor. So that's where we heading next week and trust us guys, we won't deceive no one, this is part of the game and we will do what it takes to make it touch the ground.
6. Bring the car to Tony ABD Tuning for some frame modifications, probably will cut the shock towers open or raise them ..... here's the pics from Saturday on the away to his shop!
