One week last minute vacation WHERE TO GO?

Je commence mes vacances que jai prit derniere minute du 11 au 21. Je pensais aller au USA sur la cote est ou dans le sud. Le sud est vraiment chere pour des hotels qui sont 6-700$ dhabitude. Donc c'est un peut un turn off.

On est deux, ma blonde et moi.

Avez vous des places a suggerer dans les usa moin de 10hr de route. Ou un mini road trip au usa d'une semaine.

Je connais rien du canada mais est ce qu'il y a des places a faire en une semaine...

On a serious note: Virginia Beach ou Wildwood.

Atlantic city, wildwood, myrtle beach, ocean view c'est des places qui me viennent en tete mais appart la beach ya tu d'autres choses a faire....

Cruises are usually really cheap in summer (Caribbean) May be worth checking out.

Definitely Atlantic City! Just went and it's amazing! And it's only 8-10h drive, which is not that bad. I went to Wildwood and I really liked Atlantic City more.

What hotel you stay at? Its looking like Atlantic City for me aswell! What did you do there and how long did you stay?

why not just get a last minute all inclusive to cuba/dominican/mexico? It will probably be the most convenient and probably cheaper.

it will be fairly hard to find any hotels available on the east coast on such short notice.....decent motels/hotels I mean (not the stuff that gets 1-2 stars on trip advisor because of rats, cockroaches etc); and also they are really expensive! I just came back from Maine (Old Orchard Beach) which is 6h away and it's pretty nice but we were lucky to get a room that someone else cancelled....otherwise everything half decent was booked, even at 150-250$/night!!!!

In Atlantic city it might be easier to find something given there are many large hotels.....then again, Atlantic city has some really bad and shady areas that are right outside nice Casino-hotels so you'll have to see....personally I wasn't a big fan but if you stay in the touristy areas you should be ok.

And making it to Virginia beach in 10h is....let's say you'd have to drive REALLY fast . Myrtle beach is 1800km away so it's more like 18 hours.

Other spots would be Wildwood and Seaside Heights (where they film Jersey Shore....maybe you'll be lucky and meet Snooky ), Rehoboth Beach in Delaware is not bad either.


In Canada you could go to Wasaga beach in Ontario or Parlee beach in NB.

For road trips there's tons of choices:
A nice USA 8night one would be
MTL-Washington DC (2nights)-Myrtle Beach(3 nights)-Tail of the Dragon(Knoxville area)2 nights-Harrisburg(1night)-Mtl

I prefer wildwood crest because the beach is nicer, but driving to atlantic city to visit while you're there is a must.

Caribbean cruise so you can do this and not get killed! Asian lady focused on the stingray instead of making sure my head is in the pic completely, live and learn.

yas aussi cape cod si tu passe par la....l'eau est frete en esti mes les paysage sont tres beau et le ville sur la pointe (ville HYPER gai) est vraiment le fun pour y passer 1 journée, de plus il y a plein de phoque monstrueux sur les plage/dans l'eau et c'est drole de se baigner avec eux (MAIS a cause de cela ca attire des grand requins blanc desfois et il ferme les plage non surveilé a ce moment là....snifff

I heard Wildwood became ridiculously expensive recently? Some Jersey Shore inflation.

J'arrive de 10jour a l'ile du prince édouard...et c'est vraiment une belle place....il y a des cottage a louer partout et plein de place a visiter.

je peut te vendre mes 2 passe annuel pour les parc provincial de PEI pour la moitié prix de ce qui se vende la bas et tu a acces a toutes les plus belles plage publique.

Went to wildwood 1 month ago, forget about it, 229$ a night .... Wtf. Leavig saturday for 1600$ tx in RIU negril.. A bit too expensive for the hotel itself, but we booked today, thats too mch last minute lol

I suggest check cuba and dominican republic.. I saw some 4.5-5 stars at 1000-1250 tx in.. With all activities and food expense to go in wildwood, ull end up paying close to what it cost to go dpwn south..

Agreed! That is Stingray City, in Grand Cayman. In a straight line I live <5km from this place

I'm so jello Mastermis, if i ever win the lotto I'll be moving down there! Can't wait to go back, quit taking beach vacations after my first cruise. Been to 3 already and going back for more, always Royal Caribbean. Stingray City was a great outing, never touched that many rays in my life, was having a ball feeding them!

Tout inclus a Cuba est un tres bon choix. Parcontre check la meteo sa commence a brassé dans le sud....
