Interested; what colour are these and would I need the resistors on a 2013 A3 SLine with HID/LED headlights?

I've never used them for DRL but lots of people do, I would imagine you still need the resistors. They're 6000k color so they're white with a hint of blue just like in the picture. The Cree projector is from au Audi Q5.
