AN225 "Mriya" is going to be at Mirabel tomorrow.

I am super excited because I have been in it when I was 7-8 years old.
It was displayed on the Antonov expo in Kiev.
I also went into the pilot's cockpit.

Saying this thing is huge is an understatement.

Regarding spotting: I do not yet know which runway it'll be landing on, but the biggest problem is lighting. It'll be in late evening.
 
This thing was flying back and forth between Queretaro and Toronto back in 2018 to bring aft fuselage of the G7500 which couldn't afford the one week delay for truck delivery $$$$.

The soviet built some pretty cool planes. It's incredible to go through all this R&D and then only build one. What a waste!
 
Le meilleur spot sera au bout du boulevard Henri Favre au bout du parking de Airbus.

C’est un stationnement temporaire d’un chantier de construction vide en ce moment

Too risky. I suspect Mirabel's finest will be waiting with $1200 tickets for all. Some of these rural police tend to get serious power trips.

Specifically that the mirabel cop station is 5 minutes away from the airport haha

D’abord attendu en soirée aujourd’hui, l’Antonov AN-225 devrait maintenant se poser à Mirabel en après-midi vendredi, « vers 14 h ou 15 h ».

quand meme cool mais je suis surpris qu'il y ait pas un systeme plus standardisé pour recevoir des palettes plutot que de jouer a TETRIS avec des milliers de boites.

INB4 les Chinois ont volé le matériel.

J'ai hâte de le voir sur FlightRadar24 ... Je vais surement le voir en approche d'où je suis dépendant sur quelle piste il atterri et dans quel sens.
