When an Exotic Car Collection Isn’t Enough

Anyone with tons of money can acquire themselves a fancy exotic car collection but when you want to stand out in a crowd of millionaires you’ll have to do something a little different. That’s what Humaid Albuqaish is doing with these photos.

The mega-rich citizen of the United Arab Emirates regularly posts photos of his lions and other large cats to his Instagram account. The lions are the ultimate status symbol to one-up any of the other millionaires or billionaires who try to compete.

The animals are seen sitting on his impressive fleet of exotics including several Ferrari 458s, a Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Performante, a Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Bentley, and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.

Not much is known about the man himself or where he got his wealth but he clearly has nothing to hide. The morality of owning these large cats is another issue, however.

Jasim Ali runs a wildlife park in the country which adopts animals such as this when the owners are unable to keep them anymore.

‘If someone buys a very expensive animal, he is boasting that he has enough money to get anything he wants,’ he told CNN.

‘If he has a tamed wild animal like a lion, he is trying to show off that he is brave. But this is not courage; this is animal rights abuse.’
