Watch this TechCrunch YouTube video demonstrating Apple’s new CarPlay system in a Ferrari.
CarPlay allows you to plug your iPhone into the vehicle and interact with it through the car’s built-in display. It works with all lightning-enabled devices (iPhone 5 and newer).
The system was announced in June of 2013 and launched in March 2014. The first vehicle to be delivered with functioning CarPlay was a Ferrari FF last September. Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo Chrysler and Mazda will be among the first to offer the technology. The full list of manufacturers who have expressed an interest are:

Hyundai/Kia
Jaguar Land Rover
Mercedes-Benz
Mazda

Given the amount of people who own iPhones, it’s likely that all manufacturers will be offering this within a few years.
