Close to 10 000 avid drifting fans packed the Autodrome St-Eustache north of Montreal as part of the Canadian Formula Drift World Round of the Formula Drift World Championship. The racetrack, renowned for its various motorsport events, had prepared its facilities to accommodate the crowd by adding two additional grandstands specifically for the Formula Drift World Round, subsequently multiplying its seating capacity by several thousand seats. The event took place during Labour Day weekend and featured many international drivers that actively compete in Formula Drift in the U.S, Asia and Europe.
