Of course there are SPs that advertise as indys but are truly not, however there are still fully independent SPs that fully work for themselves, the only thing is that most of indys don't work from home but have a special condo for work that they share with other Indy SPs since some have different schedule (school, family , kids, day job, night job, relationship).
