fires suck

so i start my car yesterday and realise that my wiper mechanism is rubbing on my wiring harness and then poof fire in the fusebox*banghead*
so i put it out with the good old fire extinguisher and a glass of water:yikes: i had to put it out ,i didnt want my coupe to burn to death
so this morning i started to take it apart
the only damage is to my harness the fire didnt touch anything else thank god

i guess ill be doing some searching and wiring for the next few days

find somebody stripping a mk2. that's your best bet.

its a 2.0 8v swap so i need a wiring harness from a 2.0 and a mk2 fuse box

The later Digi II boxes are CE2. Your coupe is a '90? It should have a CE2 fuseblock.

its all back together
now i just have to wait for tomorrow to start it, and im croosing my fingers it does:yikes:

good job man!! always suck to have a fire but if everything is back to normal thats the best way!!

its not only back to normal
i untaped and retaped the whole harness and it looks ten times better then the original
