Photoshoot: Lexus Laval gets something special

Reasons why I'd pay for an LFA rather than a Murcielago...

Price: 350k > 400k
Drivetrain: RWD > AWD
Sound: F1 sounding bastard > everything
production numbers: <1000 made VS ~4000 made
layout: FR VS midengine AWD therefore drifting abilities ;)

Seriously a $400k car and they are washing it with a pressure washer, thats is straight up ghetto. You would think for they price of the car they would bring in a professional detailer to prep the car and not treat it like som pos.

Moi je préfère la LFA qu'une ferrari ou lambo parce que sont look est plus unique et que j'aime bien toyota et lexus (chaqun nos gout).
Je suis pas sur mais je pense bien que la LFA est plus puissante aussi

OP, your article states it is one of only 2 LF-A's in Quebec, but I personally spoted 2 White ones ( QC plated one F and one X ) parked together in Montreal, and a Yellow one down in New-Richmond last week which was QC plated as well... So all and all, that is a minimum of 4..

you sure they were not fieros with bodykits?

would you pay 50k and up for a VW? no but maybe for a Porsche.

would you pay 50k and up for a GM? no but maybe for a Cadillac.

would you pay 50k and up for a Nissan? no but maybe for an Infiniti.

why do you judge so much on the name? would you fuck a slim, young and sexy chick named Suzanne or you prefer an old and fat Tiffany?no matter who made the car, the LFA is a masterpiece and worth every single penny.

I would pay more for a VW than for cadillac, but that's just me...

a total of 10 LFA were imported to Canada when it was released, so it's possible to have 3 or 4 in Quebec.

They made a V10 that is the size of a V8 and the weight of a V6 that can climb revs so fast that a tach with a physical needle could not keep up so they had to put a digital tach with a feature that showed where the needle stops. They had their own carbon fiber weaver made to their own specifications because traditional CF weavers made CF that wasn't perfect enough. The downshift paddle is slightly harder to pull than the upshift paddle so that you don't accidentally downshift. The battery, windshield cleaner bottle and other misc things are buried deep inside the car so that the maximum amount of weight is inside the wheel base and as low to the ground as possible. I could go on, but you get the idea. This is Japanese nerdiness at it's best.

Maybe true , but those guys made all that way before the LFA went out, and their not a big branded compagnie.

Except for the sound i dont see all the hype, a Carrera GT sound almost the same

I think the opposite, I think black makes it look very good whereas white and yellow are kinda bleh IMO.

nah with the light colors you have a contrast with the carbon fibre diffuser and vents under the tail lights. looks better. i find in black it looks less classy

For me, yellow and black are 'meh'
Black is just way too dark, it covers all the nice details. Yellow LFAs all have something I don't like, I don't know what it is, I just don't like it that way. Like a grey Bugatti Veyron is just plain 'meh' for me for no obvious reason.
