I was not sold on the idea but I always liked it on GTIs, so I bought a MK1 Golf GTI duckbill for my 2002.
I test fit it with some masking tape but then 2 weeks later I started to disassemble the 2002, which is still on-going (as seen here: http://www.montrealracing.com/forum...-The-Short-History-of-an-Old-BMW-2002-project )
This duckbill is new, never mounted. I removed it from packing, taped it on with masking tape and put it back in the bag.
Here's a photo I took right after receiving it, it wasn't positioned properly or anything (I really just took the photo to send to some buddies).
loose fit to 2002 (where i wanted it positioned it was not wide enough, i was thinking about fabricating the difference, but f it).
