URGENT! golf mk2 tranny on mk3??

my 2.0l mk3 tranny just let me go and ive got a 1992 1.8l tranny will it fit?? a fast answer would be extremely apreciated!!!

it will fit , but mk2 trannys had 2 different shaft sizes , so you might have to change the clutch also depending on the shaft size , other then that its pretty much bolt on .
 
16v tranny from mk2 is the same input shaft size as a Mk3 , 8v mk2 tranny is another shaft size from the Mk3 so you will have to change the clutch . Hope it helps :D
