Yay or Nay ? Choses a vérifier ?
I had to pick between an mk5 gti and an mk6 2.5 when I was car shopping back in cegep. I chose the mk6 and I don't regret my decision. It's tough as nails, sounds better than the 2.0t and uses 87 octane. They are great engines.
But as mentioned. Gas mileage sucks. Keep in mind that when it comes to the rabbit there's a couple things to take note. The jetta has different suspension than the golf. It's not independent like the golf. Some mk5 have a forge crankshaft but make less HP than the mk6.
If your gonna get a 2.5 and keep it bone stock, get an mk6 golf if possible.
pfff amateurs
