Bought a set of scale innovative coilovers with camber plates.

I Really liked the V1's
Very good ride quality, They ride close to stock.

The main reason i decided to go another route is adjustability.
They go low but not enough for what i want.
And i wanted something with ajustable damping.
To give you an idea they are maxed out on this pic when i had my 19" BBS's

Edit: i believe i was about 23 3/4" fender to ground maxed out

I have a set on ST XTA with ajustable camber plates and damper on the way, but I was wondering how the v1s did in a daily driving context

Zero complaints

They feel great driving them daily and on the lowest setting

I was surprised you had a k04 mk5, with your initial answer!

I don't beat it too much so I am hoping to get a few more miles on OEM clutch.

Just found it weird because the part numbers are different for the r32 and A3 3.2. Same goes for Koni yellow shocks I was looking into the other day.

Porsche GT3 brake ducts.

so i was looking in a way to have some cooling done to the front brakes. i was looking for the TT-RS ducts but ECS sells them for 75$ a pop plus hardware pretty expensive for some wind deflectors...
i saw someone on a thread talking about GT3 brake duct but never gave an answer if they fit or not since he was just brainstorming on ideas. i tought to myself...Porsche...GT3...$$$$$....turns out no not really. i almost fainted when the guy on the phone at the Porsche dealer told me the price for the set.. 10.20$ CDN taxe included... that's cheaper than a bigmac trio.. so i bought a set and told myself that if they dont fit it's no big deal for 10$.

at my surprise they fit much better than expected!

since they are pretty big and pretty much cover all the front of the control arm i test fitted them on the car before fitting them on my aluminum control arm that i have on a shelf waiting to be installed.

not bad for initial testing, they dont touch the balljoint, the brakes, the sway bar or the headlight sensor. and they shoot air straight on the caliper/pads section so perfect for cooling.

ground clearance on a NOT LOWERED CAR. see how the fins will scoop the air from underneath.

initial fitting on the passat control arm with no trimming.

all fitted. the ducts are made to clip around the Porsche control arm, but since ours are much bigger the clip aren't really useful so i used tie-wrap for the moment. it's holding solid as is.

i did some trimming over there for the scoop to fit more flush to the control arm.

so that's it. for 10$ you get some big ass scoop for cooling. i will not install them on the car right now as it is winter over here and even tho they are cheap, i dont fell like breaking them once a week.
this might not work on a slammed car either as they sit lower to the rest of the car even on stock height.

I almost wanna call bullshit! 10$ for oem porsche gt3 parts?! How much lower in the R than a standard golf? I might get this just so i can say i have gt3 parts installed
