MontrealRacing.com a appris que le SPVM cherche à améliorer la façon dont ses agents gèrent les interactions avec les propriétaires de véhicules modifiés.
Un document qui est en cours d’élaboration viserait à aider les agents à mieux comprendre et à mieux faire face aux véhicules qui ont été modifiés illégalement. Il n’a pas encore été déterminé si ce sera un guide public ou tout simplement une directive interne donnée aux agents.
La bonne nouvelle est que MontrealRacing.com pourrait avoir l’occasion de participer au processus. En 2007, nous avons travaillé avec le SPVM sur un projet similaire afin de sensibiliser le public à ce qui constitue une modification illégale. Les liens de ces articles se trouvent ici:

Nous avons demandé à participer à la rédaction du document et nous vous informerons des développements. L’échéancier prévoit qu’il y aura des développements d’ici la fin de 2014. Il se pourrait cependant que ce soit repoussé en 2015.MontrealRacing.com has learned that the SPVM is working to better the way its officers handle interactions with modified vehicles.
A document is being drafted which aims to help officers better understand and more effectively deal with vehicles that have been modified illegally. It has not been determined yet if this will be a public guide or simply an internal directive given only to police.
The good news is that MontrealRacing.com may have an opportunity to participate in the process. In 2007 we worked with the SPVM in a similar fashion in order to educate the public on what constitutes an illegal modification.
