This photo showing a crack in (allegedly) the Champlain Bridge making the rounds on social media is actually another structure called the Rio-Niterói bridge located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Over the last few days it’s gone viral so don’t be fooled!
That being said, the reason why something like this can happen is because of the absolute horrible condition of the bridge and our roads in general. It could be the Champlain bridge and not a single person would be surprised.
