[:fr]La scène du tuning au Québec est une communauté très unie, mais elle est également assez grande qu’il est fort probable que vous ne connaissiez pas tous les grands joueurs. Il y a beaucoup de gens que je n’ai jamais eu le plaisir de rencontrer donc s’il vous plaît ne soyez pas offensé si votre nom n’est pas sur ma liste. Ce ne sont que quelques-uns des grands noms dans le domaine des événements à surveiller en 2017.
Jason Labrosse @hondafest.ca @jdmfest.ca @formuladriftcanada
Jason est copropriétaire de Autodrome St-Eustache où des milliers de personnes vont courser chaque semaine. Étant donné que l’Autodome loue ses installations aux promoteurs, Jason a une main dans de nombreux événements tuning y compris le So Clean Show et le LOW Show. Son équipe était également responsable d’apporter Formula Drift au Canada. Jason est le président de Darkhorse Events qui produit Honda Fest (le plus grand spectacle d’importation au Canada) JDM Fest, Midnight Madness et Import Vs. Domestiques.
Katay Fever @gotcarfever
Katay a toujours préféré de garder un profil moins visible, mais il est très impliqué dans la scène depuis ses débuts. Katay est le propriétaire de la franchise Car Fever qui comprend plusieurs événements se déroulant tout au long de l’année tenue à Napierville Dragway y compris Car Fever, Street Fever et Drag Fever. Katay élargira ses responsabilités en 2017 après s’être associé aux nouveaux propriétaires du championnat DMCC.
Dom Dubreuil @gotcarfever
Dom est le propriétaire de la série Racewars tenue au Circuit ICAR ainsi que le Paul Walker Memorial Ride tenu à l’Autodrome St-Eustache. Dom a également recréé le Mitsubishi Eclipse du film Rapides et Dangereux et a coordonné avec l’acteur qui joue Jesse dans ce film pour recréer son Volkswagen Jetta blanc. Ce dernier sera dévoilé au PWMR de cette année.
Cedric Tam @autoacethetics
Cedric est l’organisateur de l’événement Exclusive Mondays chez Patates 2000 et le propriétaire d’Auto Acethetics. Cedric a une présence importante sur la scène en organisant des spectacles à Napierville, à l’Autodrome St-Eustache ainsi que Cars On Fire au Circuit Mont-Tremblant. Cedric nourrit également les amateurs d’autos personnellement avec « Ace’s Burger Bar »; il a démontré beaucoup d’implication dans la scène au cours des dernières années.

L’équipe Eurokracy continue à se surpasser année après année. Eurokracy est maintenant le plus grand événement euro dans l’est du Canada et les amateurs viennent de partout pour assister au spectacle. Le groupe a également fondé Air Society (la plus grande communauté en ligne de air ride) et Afterfest, un nouveau style de show / after party à New Jersey. L’équipe maintiendra le cap en 2017!

Drew organise le Spring Bash à Napierville Dragway et est également impliqué dans plusieurs autres événements. Sa présence en ligne est significative et sa voiture a été présentée sur Stance Nation et plus récemment exposée au SEMA spectacle à Las Vegas. Drew est coorganisateur du Run-1000 Rally et a organisé une initiative de charité pour les sans-abri à Montréal pendant les fêtes.
Ben Woo @_benwoo
Ben a été co-créateur du show SCP de 2000-2008 et du SCP Evolution de l’an dernier. Ben et l’équipe de Jason Labrosse à l’Autodrome St-Eustache sont responsables d’apporter Formula Drift au Canada. Ben est également responsable de l’organisation du festival de rue Crescent lors du Grand Prix de Montréal ainsi que de la zone de performance du Salon de l’auto de Montréal.

Cimon est le fondateur du club LowLevel et l’organisateur de Nations Gone Wild. Il est un photographe talentueux et la croissance de sa marque est fulgurante comparativement à d’autres clubs de voiture. Le club est très populaire auprès des promoteurs; il a même sa propre ligne de vêtements.

Massimo et Rolland organise un spectacle de très haute qualité à l’automne St-Eustache au début de juillet chaque année ainsi que plusieurs rencontres sur la piste pendant la semaine. Ils sont présents à chaque exposition et montrent un dévouement à la scène qui mérite la reconnaissance.

Jason is co-owner of Autodrome St-Eustache where thousands of people go to race their cars every single week. Since the Autodome rents its facility out to various show promotors, Jason has a hand in many of the spectacular events tuners will participate in this year including the So Clean Show and the LOW Show. His team was also responsible for bringing Formula Drift to Canada which is no small endeavor. Jason is president of Darkhorse events which produces Honda Fest (the biggest Canadian import show) JDM Fest, Midnight Madness and Import Vs. Domestics.
Katay Fever @gotcarfever
Katay has always preferred to remain in the background but he’s been heavily involved in the scene from almost the beginning. Katay is the owner of the successful Car Fever franchise which includes several shows throughout the year held at Napierville Dragway including Car Fever, Street Fever and Drag Fever. Katay will be expanding his responsibilities in 2017 after partnering with the new owners of the DMCC championship.
Dom Dubreuil @dom_dub
Dom is the owner of the Racewars series of shows held at Circuit ICAR as well as the Paul Walker Memorial Ride held at Autodrome St-Eustache. Dom has also re-created the Mitsubishi Eclipse from the original The Fast & The Furious movie and has coordinated with the actor who plays Jesse in that movie to recreate his white Volkwagen Jetta. The Jetta will be unveiled at this year’s PWMR.
Cedric Tam @autoacethetics
Cedric is the organizer of Exclusive Mondays at Patates 2000 and the owner of Auto Acethetics. Cedric has a big scene presence and is usually helping out with organizing shows at Napierville, Autodrome St-Eustache and Cars On Fire at Circuit Mont Tremblant. Cedric personally BBQs food for car enthusiasts with Ace’s Burger Bar and few people have demonstrated as much commitment to the scene as Cedric over the last few years.

The Eurokracy team keeps outdoing themselves year after year. Eurokracy is now the biggest show in Eastern Canada and enthusiasts come from all over to witness the spectacle. The group also founded Air Society (the biggest online air ride community) and Afterfest , a new style car show / after party in New Jersey. Look for this trend to continue in 2017.

Ben is also responsible for organizing the Crescent street festival during the Montreal Grand Prix as well as the Performance Zone of the Montreal International Autoshow.

Cimon is the founder of the LowLevel car club and organizer of Nations Gone Wild. He is a talented photographer and his brand’s growth is unsurpassed when it some to other car clubs. The club is highly sought-after to attend events and has even spawned its own clothing line.
