Autodrome St-Eustache is closing it’s doors. Don’t forget the last event will be the Memorial Ride on Oct 12. Let’s look back over the last 20 years at some of the most memorable events to be held there. We will be posting one event every day for the next ten days.
It’s possible there are other events that I’m missing but I think this is a pretty inclusive list. It’s also important to note that not all of these events happened under the Labrosse family who took over the Autodrome in December 2007.
#10: Car Fever 2
We all associate Car Fever with Napierville Dragway however the first two Car Fever events happened in the year 1999 and 2000 at Autodrome St-Eustache. Only when the promoter Katay took over, did the event move to Napierville in 2001.
These are photos from the year 2000 and it was one of the least organized shows I’ve been to. People are seen running from the burnout competition.
Spectators were allowed to stand on the autocross track while cars were trying to do autocross between cones.
It was just a bit of a shitshow but remains one of the more memorable events at the track. Stay tuned for the rest of the events.
