The Montreal Motorcycle Show

With a tremendous number of new products on display from dozens of manufacturers, the Montreal Motorcycle Show, presented by La Capitale General Insurance, will allow visitors to live their passion to the fullest from Friday, February 27 to Sunday, March 1 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. Iconic manufacturer Harley‐Davidson will notably display its Street 750 and Street 500 models, already available in Canada and designed with young city riders in mind. Project Livewire, the company’s first electric model, will also be featured. Blending the styling heritage of the brand with the latest technology, this exciting new ride delivers a new expression of the signature Harley‐ Davidson look, sound and feel. For its first visit to the Show, it will be displayed on a JUMPSTART demo, to the certain delight of all who wish to try it out.

Honda will dedicate an entire booth at the show to its legendary Gold Wing, where visitors will have the chance to learn about the bike’s 40 year evolution. A leaning bike display will enable visitors to experience the unique sensation of riding the all new CB300F, but be warned: once they’ve experienced this easy to ride bike, they may well want to go home with one. The more adventurous will want to check out the CB500X and NC750X, which are perfect for gravel road riding and quickly gaining popularity among riders of all ages and experience levels.

Can‐Am BRP will proudly unveil its Spyder F3 roadster, a major evolution in riding in both design and substance. Open air riders will love the thrilling ride offered by this bike, with its cruising‐riding position and custom fit.

KTM is excited to introduce three new models: the 390 Duke, RC 390 and 1290 Super Adventure. Sure to make heads turn, the 390 Duke is an expansion to the Duke line that already includes the 1290 Super Duke R and 690 Duke. Combining maximum riding pleasure with optimum user value, it guarantees undreamed of dynamic fun, whether the landscape is an urban jungle or a forest of bends. The 1290 Super Adventure, the latest addition to the KTM Adventure line‐up, will surprise with its
uncompromisingly powerful engine and safety and electronics packages, which make it the perfect ride for any journey.

BMW Motorrad will be front and centre with its powerful new line‐up that includes the F800R, R1200R, S1000RR and R1200RS, the latter offering the dynamic performance of a top touring bike. With its relaxed seating position and protection against wind and rain, this bike delivers an entirely new riding sensation both at high speeds and when negotiating the twists and turns of country roads. Inventive, youthful and free‐spirited, the new Ducati Scrambler is much more than a bike, it’s a land of joy, freedom and self‐expression. Anti‐conformist, accessible and essential, this model, which is available in four distinct versions, is the perfect blend of tradition and modernity and marks a return to the pure essence of motorcycling.

The new Ducati Diavel, with its intoxicating design and refined rider comfort, may imply “cruiser,” but the brute force of its 162 hp Testastretta engine and its razor sharp handling prove otherwise. The Diavel is a true Ducati, born from a passion for motorcycling and designed to deliver authentic Ducati performance in every respect.

The V‐Strom 650 by Suzuki is already known as great touring machine. The brand new V‐Strom 650X EXP expands this versatility with standard equipped black aluminum side cases and top case, vario windshield, engine guard, under cowling, hand guards, wire‐spoked aluminum wheels and standard ABS.

Commemorating Suzuki’s 2015 return to MotoGP racing, the new GSX‐R1000 is dressed in Suzuki Racing Blue, boldly expressing Suzuki’s spirit and passion for racing. This new model is sure to prove itself as a legendary motorcycle with amazing throttle response, power and acceleration at midrange engine speeds – all with great fuel economy.

The highly anticipated Yamaha R1 has been redesigned from the ground up. The technology Yamaha has pioneered and proven on race circuits around the world can now be enjoyed by racers and riders alike.

For those seeking fun, affordable transportation, there’s the fully automatic Yamaha SMAX. With loads
of wind and weather protection, it’s virtually vibration‐free. In short, it’s the perfect commuter
scooter.

The highly likeable TMAX, redesigned by the experts at Yamaha, will impress on the open road, shattering the scooter stereotype.

Riders looking for a versatile bike will be elated to discover the much anticipated FJ‐09. Designed around the concept of a sporty multi‐use machine, it offers a comfortable and exciting ride, regardless of destination or landscape.

Over at Kawasaki, visitors will find the Ninja H2R, designed to be the ultimate motorcycle. Developed for closed‐course riding, it delivers an exhilarating performance experience free from the limitations of street‐legal riding. The supercharged engine offers intense acceleration, an ultra‐high top speed, supersport‐level handling performance and a sensory experience surpassing anything that riders can find today.

The Ninja H2, the street‐legal version of the Ninja H2R, combines experience, innovation and engineering and presents a new era in riding – the world’s first supercharged street bike. Among the other manufacturers displaying new models at the Show will be Triumph Motorcycles, Polaris, Magnum, Indian Motorcycles, CFMOTO, Piaggio, Aprillia, MV Augusta and Kumpan.
