Any bikers here? (speed bikes)

Well stock, u won't fins many bikes with a crazy rake like that hahaha

Yeah the intruder/velousia are nice bikes!

I went to see an intruder today
10000kms guy brought it from Ontario
On original tires (needs tires)
I liked the seating position
I jizz at the quality of everything I touch
I like how it looks
I rode around the block 2x
Didn’t feel anything weird but then again I have zero experience
Started from cold with choke
After about two minutes started again without choke
Oil is clean

So all in all needs tires and inspection

I don’t know what else to check/worry about lol

I'd bring it to a shop to get it inspected...what year?

And let's do an MR bike meet...should I start a thread?
2006

Good idea

Only thing is because it’s not plated id need a trailer etc

Does the thing at saaq exist to temp plate like a car for 7 whatever days?

Make sure it doesn't need an inspection man.....

And it's still almost 20 years old, so brake fluid flush, tranny flush, drives shaft (I believe this models shaft drive), make sure pads are good and rotors also....just du to age I'd clean the carb too!

there's no such thing as too much power in any custom bike. (the liquid cooled one are a bit more powerfull but still: they are boat anchors)

heck: My DRZ400 have a bigger power/weight ratio then pretty much any custom bike!

Power isnt the only factor...

My 2016 Z1000 is 142hp/82tq

A friend have a 2022 ZX6R 136hp/51tq

Were both the same shape, i may be a little heavier

5th gear(tough it would give me a chance), 80-200km/h pull, he just destroyed me solid...

Aerodynanism and gearing is also a big factor....

Oh and it weight only 485lbs! 🤣

I drove a CB500R for couple hundred miles, was sooo fun! less power you can beat the shit out of the bike with full enjoyment and less fear...

The Z... I have to be always alert and very respectfull, if i even try to slap it, just a little, it always answer with mostly violence and fear kick in...

I'm in for a meet if its not too far from Mtl area...

Cut off à toutes les vitesses! Haha

Un jour, je vais m'en racheter un... mais ce sera probablement plus un Z125.

Just curious, how much...?

I would steer away from anything that need an inspection, u could be very suprised

2k lol
Je me dis ça roule ça fume pas ça shift
How bad can it be

Je me questionne quand même côté verification
Like what can be wrong with an air cooled engine, it either works or doesn’t I guess?
It starts with some choke
It starts again no choke

Also there this

J’ai de la fucking misère à comprendre

Un bon vélo de route c’est dur acheter de quoi potable en bas de 2500$

Meanwhile ya des Honda shadow bonne condition low mileage avec saddle bags toute fonctionnelle pour 2000$

Im mind blown in this motorcycle business

^^^^
That harley is cheap as fuck....

And it's so true....hahahaahaha

I'm guessing road bikes like anything else there's Walmart ones and 2k ones...lol it's a little like comparing a 30k civic vs 50k 3 series! Both will get u from point a to b....but there's buyers for both!
2k lol

Unfortunately I'm no mechanic, but shit can still go wrong...but it's true barely any electronics and everything can be fixed with a screwdriver and paperclip lool

IMO, its much much easier to appraise a used bike's state by a test drive vs car.

I would not be too concerned. Those simple Japanese cruisers are typically super reliable.

^ shadows/vstars are considering 'starter' v twins... they are fun to learn but literally as soon as you get a grasp of how to ride a bike comfortably, people upgrade it, those bikes are bulletproof and get passed around like street girls. Also cruiser type of bikes are more geared towards middle age and up unless you wanna go full harley.
If you think you don't understand the bike business wait till you go to the SAAQ and plate it and find out how much your bike is really worth lol.
